LEAP Sports Scotland

is a charity created to increase the visibility and participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and Intersex people in Scottish sport and physical activity.

We would like to know what types of activity you would like to see in the Highlands.

This event is being run in partnership with Highland LGBT Forum.

Join us for a short walk (45mins – 1hr), a couple of LEAP films, refreshments and friendly chat.

Dying to Know October 2016

Whilst the Forum committee were having their committee meeting in Ullapool, our Vice-Chair Rosemary represented the Forum at the Dying to Know event in Drumnadrochit.

Inverness Highland Games July 2016

The Forum had a stall at the Inverness Highland Games in 2016.  Unfortunately the weather put paid to us staying there for long.  Everything was getting blown around and the gazebo ended up being dismantled.

Discos in 2016

The Forum held three discos during the year:

Valentines - 13th February.

Summer - 12th June.

Winter - 5th November.

All events were held in the Beaufort Hotel, with special guests Ivanna Fucalotte and MySTI Hole providing the entertainment.  Ivanna was on their own for the Winter Disco as MySTI had moved to Canada.  Although Faye Chyna made a guest appearance.

All the events were free.

You might not know this, but the Highland LGBT Forum is a Charity and relies on donations to help fund social events such as these discos and we would appreciate any donations you would be willing to give.  You can do this at our events or via our donation button on our website:

Sabhal Mòr Ostaig Freshers' Fayre September 2016

The Forum had a stall at the Sabhal Mòr Ostaig Freshers' Fayre on Skye on 6th September.  We had a wonderful reception and a good, if quiet, day.  We also got some interest from someone who wanted to help the Forum, so a very worthwhile 200 mile trip.
